Dear FutureMe,
I hope that life is a little less difficult than is was when I wrote this. We've been through a lot, but all I can say is that if you're reading this, It gets better. Maybe you'll finally be working or in college doing something we finally figured out we wanted to do. And maybe you'll have finally gotten to met your partner that lives far away. Maybe you'll both be living together not having to worry about long distance and hold each other. Yes, it probably took freaking ages or at least seemed like it, but it even if it didn't someday you'll be together.
Make sure you stay in touch with family and keep enjoying the rest of your time with mom. She may not be here for as long so enjoy every moment you have with her. She loves you and cares.
Remember to keep your head up and that its ok to have emotions. It's ok to ask for help. It's going to be ok. Sometimes it might feel like the worlds stinks or even life stinks, but you have to get through it. We wont survive if you succumb to your emotions and fall down the hole of depression. You need to realize there are people to help and you are not a burden. You can want help.
I know letter might seem very emotional for some reason. Its kinda the only thing we need to remind ourselves about frequently.
Anyways, I hope that you read this letter and thought about it. Maybe the time to read this will come when we need it. Good luck on your journey called life and I hope you're doing ok.
Love,
yourself
