A letter from Aug 25th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, This is your 15 year old self. Now Playing: 아픈 길 (Hurt Road) by Day6. God, I don't even know what to say. If it wasn't for our Oral Communication teacher you've probably wouldn't done this HAHA. 5 years later, huh? So how are you? It's been really tough here lately. I'm hoping you manage to stay alive hahaha jk. I left home for about 3 months now and I really miss my room and our pets. Georgia died too. I didn't get to say goodbye. I don't want to accept that she's gone now because I didn't get to say goodbye to her and I miss her so so so much along with Miming, Ginger, and the triplets. They've probably miss me too, right? How are they though? Are they still alive? Is Ginger still okay? Is Miming still there? How about the three puppies? Do you think Georgia knows I've been wanting to see her but wasn't brave enough to go home? I hope she do. I really hope so. You promised yourself to adopt and participate on stray animals projects once you're financially stable. So, how is it? Did you do it? I've been struggling alot lately, I don't know how to cope anymore and I'm having a hard time with school too. I'm so pressured with my surroundings. Everybody seems to know what they want for their future but I'm still wondering what do I really want without the society telling me. Seems like I've been wanting to cry but no tears are coming out. But, I'm really proud of you. If you managed to read this 5 years later, that means you really are the strong person I know. It's true when I said it's been really hard lately and I don't know what to do with it. You're probably 19? 20? I don't know, I can't do simple math haha when you receive this. Are you still a big fan of EXO? They contributed so much in your life. They gave you so much inspiration whenever you needed one. They are your escape in this world. As of now, Jongdae has a family! I'm really happy for him. 4 members are currently in the military! How about Stray Kids? Are you still a fan of them too? Are you still listening to their songs? Bangchan is such a great idol. He helped you get through so much too! They are your second safe people! <3 They're probably at the military the time you're reading this though. Along with EXO, they're also the idols who I hold onto. Were you able to leave this ****** hometown? If yes, then congratulations! You've been wanting to leave since then. If not, why? Leave now. How about your sleeping? Can you sleep peacefully now? Are you sleeping earlier now? I barely get to sleep before the sun rise. Are you still friends with the same people? Is Louise, Kyle and Shaine still your bestfriend? Is Kyle still a big fan of TWICE? How about Ylai? What course is she taking now? Is it business? How about Kaella, Belle, and Ezaih? As of now, Kaella has Julius. They're really cute hahaha. Ezaih is a fan of Stray Kids too! Belle is a very jolly person and a big fan of Taylor Swift! Are you still talking with them? Hopefully yes! How about your online friends? Jayson? He's the longest internet best friend you ever had! I hope you get to meet him one day! Ilaney? I hope you're still in touch with her too! She's a really nice person and very funny too! Did you meet them? How about your participation in Anakbayan? Are you still an activist? It's been really hard to participate in every EDs and meetings lately because of school but they're really understanding! Is the government better now? I really hope so. Or are you still fighting for it? Are you studying the course you wanted to take? Have you decided what you really want? What is it again? Is it BS Psychology, Political Science, or you took a different road? I'm rooting for you! Although everything has been really hard, I know you're a brave and strong person. You're independent and hardworking. I trust in you. If things get hard, always remember to take a deep breathe and enjoy. Don't be too hard on yourself, okay? Ending this now.
