Time Travelled — over 4 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hello there! I'm your 16-year-old self, as you may or may not recall, and I'm writing this to you from the past. You're 21 years old today; wow, you're a full-grown woman. I'm not sure what challenges you're facing, whether they're the ones I'm expecting or others that have surprised you. But I just want you to know that I'm very happy and proud of you because you've overcome all of your challenges in life. I hope where you are now is where you want to be, and if it isn't, that's fine. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and keep pushing. Remember that even if it doesn't feel like you're moving forward or that you didn't accomplish anything at all, there is always some movement and improvement in every single tiny thing you do. I hope you've learned to stop worrying about what other people think of you. Keep your head up at all times. Continue to be fearless, and don't let anyone ruin the sunshine that exists within your heart. You are an incredible, uncommon, and exquisite work of art that you will one day recognize and admire. Never give up fighting for us; it may seem impossible now, but believe me when I say it will be worth it. Sincerely, Me, Your Past Self
