A letter from Aug 24th, 2021

Dear Morgan, In five years, this letter should reach you, if you still have your original email. If so, I just wonder how things are going. I hope that you are on the path that you wanted to be on. Right at this moment from five years before this letter reaches you, I’m stuck on a fork. I want to do something about 3-D animation. Special effects sound fun. Then I heard of Computer Hardware Engineering, that sounds like another thing that I could be good at. Then I want to do something about “that story”. I hope that story goes somewhere. Maybe in five years, only you would know. I just hope that this gets to you. Maybe I could give you some advice? Maybe a younger pair of eyes? I don’t know, I’m only eighteen now. There’s still so much to learn now, but I just wish I could see into the future, just once. Not because I can use it to change something for the possible better, but so I could be assured of how things turn out. Well, then again, being kept in the dark and making yourself guess on what will happen next is a thrilling feeling. I’m never going to know what’s going to happen in this world and it’s amazing. The real cliff-hanger of a series that keeps on happening. Remember that, the world’s unexpected events are always better than any other happening in a game or movie. Twenty-three year old me, you better not be kept under a rock. Also, try and keep in touch with your pals in Las Cruces. Either this will jog your memory of old friends, or a reminder to send them a message. Anyways, I’ll add a few more questions and be on my way. Did Half-Life 3 come out yet? Did it do well? How did the McAfee incident go? Are you still in Illinois? If so, have you met the critic yet? At least took a picture with him? Did you keep all of those TF2 crates? You should probably go and check the price now, bet you some of them went up a bit. Did you build that computer yet? You know, the one with Damien’s case? How’s mom and dad? Are they doing well? You should probably go and check up on them. How’s the Military collection? Better be more than what I have right now. Are you depressed or something? If so, then you should know better. There’s always something good in life. Did Bethesda screw up? I swear to god if Elder Scrolls 6 is bad, I’m gonna get Todd for it. I think that’s all of the questions I have for now. Sorry if you expected more. Well, I should be finishing this up now, I have other homework to do so… Wait, I also want to say one more thing; Stay true to yourself. Don’t mind the naysayers, stick to your vision and who you are as an individual. Existence is an extraordinary experience, even so in a world like this one, inside a system that is inside of a galaxy, that is also inside a universe. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?
