Dear FutureMe,
You would be in university as you read this. In your second or third year, I'm assuming. Did you get into NYU? Or did you change your mind about it? Did you even go to school in the US? Abroad? What did you decide to major in? Still into business or did you change your mind?
I hope your high school experience was memorable despite all the obstacles you faced. Did you ever get to go back to school on campus? How were your grades? Were you able to maintain them like you swore you would? Whatever happened, however, things turned out, I just want you to know you did great. Sometimes, life has a way of surprising you, good or bad.
Okay, enough about the serious stuff. Is he still on your mind? That one boy you loved since elementary school? Or maybe that guy in your class, the one I currently think is really cute? Maybe you're single. After all, it was always hard for you to open up to people. You might be in a loving relationship, and in that case, I hope he treats you right.
I'm procrastinating as I write this. I know I shouldn't and that I have important exams to prepare for but oh well, we both know how little self-control I have. Today was the third day at our new school and I don't know what the future holds but I hope I made the right choice transferring. Were you happy to have moved here? Did you graduate from here?
I know I won't hear the answers to these endless questions I continue to ask so I'll stop here. Always remember, consistency is key.
I love you. You're doing great in life.
