A letter from Aug 19th, 2021

Dear Future Serena, Hello! Today is the second day if senior year. I already woke up late but luckily wasn't late to school. It's super nice to be back no mask and all. The people in government and battling to try and require masks. I'm obviously not afraid because I have prayed for a good outcome. I know the lord is protecting me from Covid as He does with all things. Today, mom is going to the the emergency room because her stomach has been hurting and it might be the ulcer. Ryan came over last night to pay me and he prayed for mom. Her stomach actually felt fine this morning. That's the power of prayer. Also, Ryan payed me $85 so I've basically earned back what I gave to Gary. He's still in rhe battle with his debt. So, are you still on the praise and worship team? It looks like Ola will be joining us now. How is the church attendance? We only have maybe 150 members as of now. So did you go to school after graduation? I dont know where the Lord has put you but I know you're supposed to help people. I still think working in a hospital would be cool if the craziness of the pandemic has stopped. Also, are you married? And if so, is it to Ife? I still like him even though we haven't talked much. There's supposed to be a youth group starting but it hasn't yet. This Friday is Advent! Anyway, be still and know God has got you. No matter what, rely on the Lord for everything. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, kean not on your own understanding, seek his will in all you do and he will make your path straight" proverbs 3:5-6 " I have said these things to you, that in me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heat, I have Overcome the world" John 16:33. So don't worry! I was so tired earlier but after reading those verses and some, I have full energy so don't keep away from what you know you should do like read the word. you got this girl!
