A letter from Aug 18th, 2021

Dear Mary, Today is the second day of senior year. I am writing this in Ap English Literature Today I am wearing my new black Madewell jeans, platform white converse, and a sweater thrifted. The thing I worry the most about is college applications. I haven’t started my essay and i’m scared of it. I don’t know where I’m going to end up at school. Right now, the person I admire most is Wings (Hannah Wuerflein) Aunt Meagan, my momma, and bomma. I have a lot of powerful women in my life. I want to travel the world. I want to do everything and be everything and there is so much I want to learn and study. I want to be a pilot, work on a cruise ship, and be a park ranger. I also want a boyfriend. I start my A&M Spanish class in a few weeks and I’m worried about that. I am wearing a mask right now but not everyone is. I need to start taking better care of my body and exercising more.Anna Claire is my best friend. My favorite song is Saturn by Sleeping At Last and Classy Girls (B version) by the Lumineers. I just came back from Camp Trinity and it was the best summer ever. I can’t wait to explore the world and make new friends. There is so many people I’m going to love that I haven’t even met yet. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me.
