Dear FutureMe,
Why Hello there, and my, how the years have gone by.
...well, for you at least, I suppose. And happy birthday :D
I'm sitting here thinking how strange it would be to recieve an email from myself in twenty years, wondering how it would feel, what would be happening. Wondering if I'll--meaning you--will ever even recieve this message, or if it'll be stored in a virtural junk-drawer of cyberspace and never to be opened.
Wondering, if in fact, I'll even be alive to read this, or if I'll still use my email or whatnot. I suppose If you, which is I, am reading this now, than that must not have happened.
Either that, or there have been some hackers or sneaks snooping around my email now, or I gave it away or something. Ho hum.
If this entry isn't dated (which it should be) the year is 2005, and it's the end of December, and currently we're looking foward to the year 2006. Funny, huh?
First, my questions to you. Not like you can reply or anything...unless you have those time machines now o__o
So, has the population of Japan increaced recently? Not like there were more children born or anything, but has a bunch of people moved there a while ago? With the Japan craze amongst teenagers now, you'd think that'd happen.
Another thing, are there robots? You know, besides Furby and stuff. Or has our technology de-evolutionized and you have no way of actually reading this besides telepathy or something.
Has there been a Matrix yet? Like a real one? Because If you're getting this message with your mind...well, that could be a bad sign.
Are you locked up in the looney bin? I'm sorry to disturb you if you are, but you know, one can be curious sometimes.
I suppose you could be married, a secret ninja agent, someone famous, a hobo, a zombie, or almost anything else possible right now. It seems so strange.
How's the internet these days? Do you still use the mouse and keyboard, or are you using those freaky brain-things? Have the forums been under the control of emoticon-abusing "noobs" or flaming elitists?
...now'd be a good time to give you all my (now old) passwords, but I'm making this email public xD ((Check the pink dresser, if you still have it))
Whadda 'bout those sites I love so much now, like Gaia and dA and stuff. Or are those so obselete now even you don't remember them? I wanna know if I'm famous yet or not.
...Or a ninja :O
Do you (I) have the same obsession with ninjas, rice candy and pigs? Just wondering...
And about my friends, am I stil friends with them? You know, Hillary, Heather, Rachel, etc?
Now, I'll just ask you to look back at yourself and ask yourself questions you would have asked your future self twenty years ago and find answers to them. I'll be happy then :)
About me now ((or then))? You can find my age using math. I'm pretty good at that currently, that and reading. No way I'm going to post my age somewhere public.
I'm a proud geek who loves her oboe, one newly gotten on Christmas. I'm still trying to think of a name.
My username almost everywhere online is vetorswest. Heather and Michael (our friend and our brother) came up with that word, if you don't remember.
I love drawing, but I'm not that great compaired to those famous artists. Maybe I'll be wonderful someday, and maybe that someday is now to you.
This is oh-so-confusing.
I suppose that's it, and I'm either sad or happy to say, that this could be either the only or one of many messages you'll get from your Past Me to you, my future me.
I hope you've had a wonderful life so far, and may it to continue to be so for our sake.
Signed,
Your Past Self
PS: How odd it is to talk in both first and third person about yourself at the same time xD
