A letter from Aug 12th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey dude👋 We are 20 right now, gonna be 21 in about a month now. We are going through it dude. First heartbreak, really sucks. You know who he is, hopefully you remember him, if not that’s okay too, he promised to never forget about you. Honestly don’t know what I’m doing right now, but I really hope you are doing way better. I am in my room on Occidental St, literally doing what I’ve been doing for the past couple of days, just laying down in a cold room and listening to Second Sun by Bonobo. If you really want to feel nostalgic, you should listen to NDA by Billie, that song will probably remind you of a pretty great memory👌 If it doesn’t then I’m happy for you. I wonder if you are moved out yet, with your Camaro, and enjoying life. I know that five years seems like a lot to me right now, but by the time we get there, I will be almost a new person. I will have gone through so much and I honestly don’t how we’ll make it😂 but I know I’ll pull through for you. I want to make you so proud of me, I want to so bad, I know your happiness depends on my every move. Just wish I had a sign to show me the way. I really hope you’re happier. Also, we made a promise not to forget about him, so don’t. You don’t have to reach out to him yet, if you even care 😂 but I just don’t want you to forget about him, he was a good guy, just a little lost like I am right now. I know he’ll find his way, and hey who knows, maybe you’re with him right now, maybe not, I don’t know, either way I just want you to know that I’m proud of how far you’ve come. And if you are going through something hard, know that we’ve always gotten through it okay, always, and we’ll continue to get through it, I pinky promise🥲 Please take care of yourself, I love you dude
