A letter from Aug 9th, 2021

Dear Bronwen, Today is Monday, the 9th of August, 2021. There’s exactly a month until school starts again- I’m going into seventh grade. Pretty much everyone says it’s the worst grade, but the people that don’t, say it was their favorite. I’m nervous, but at least I have Stella to stick with me. Currently I’m waiting until it’s late enough in the morning to message Stella on google hangouts to play the Sims 4. On that note- 1, are you still best friends with Stella?? And 2, how’s the Sims 5? Is it fun? Do you have a PC? Are you still babysitting? I have a babysitting job for three-year-old Conrad tomorrow from 5-8 pm. How are the cats? Do we/you have any other pets yet? Do you have any new good friends? How’s COVID doing now? Currently it’s getting worse again because of the Delta variant. Ooh, imagine if I moved… anyway, have you been to Alaska? Hawaii? Japan? Ridden horses since July 2021? The Olympics are happening now, I bet you had them again just a year ago. Ooooooohhh, who’s the president?? I swear. If it’s trump….. right now it’s Biden & Kamala. How are you doing? You’re seventeen. Wow. I’m 12. Except we’re the same person. But, like, I’m not you yet. Or something… 😅 How are you? I just went to valley fair for the first time and my favorite ride was wild thing. What’s your favorite now? Do you have anything planned for college? I wonder if you’ve continued writing fantasy and realistic fiction. Do you still want to be an author? Right now I’m thinking I want to be an author that owns a small business for interior design. Do you still play piano? If so, are you really good? I took this summer off of lessons… 😬 How are the electronic devices in the future? Are there any new inventions? Do we still live in our house, or did we move? I hope I have a bunny in my room in the future. What’s trending now? Is Olivia Rodrigo still super big? Has the style changed?
