A letter from Aug 9th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, How are you doing so far? Hope it's turning out how I had planned. Do you remember Colton Davis? He has changed us for the better. Remember when we used to be introverted and shy, and with the help of our coworkers and mainly our friend group (Ashlyn, Varnell, Harper, Luke, Jake, Josh, and Bryson). Hanging out with our friends whenever we had the time, even though we were busy with the clubs in RO or work. All of this has really helped us out of our shells. If you haven't yet, thank them whenever you see them. Thank them for the success you have now, for supporting you, for helping you through troubling time. Currently, I'm in my senior year of high school. Seems like it's going to be a fun year so far. I'm currently the S6 in jrotc and a 1st lieutenant (I might get captain?). I am also still the Drill team commander, senior rifleman on Color Guard, and the 4th shooter on the Rifle team. Harper managed to get battalion commander, which is amazing, just hope she doesn't drop me too much. Her and Bryson are still together, which doesn't bother me much anymore, they make a good couple. I still haven't found anybody yet, and I hope you've had a little bit better luck than me. Also, let me know who won that 5-year bet between me and Ash. I hope that what I have planned for the future is underway. By now, you should've graduated from the academy and joined into the Airforce. I know I'm wanting to be a pilot, but I know the future is always mysterious and changing. I just hope that you're doing something you like at least. I hope that the next 5 years will be pleasant for me, or won't cause me too much grief. I'll try my best currently to give you less work in the future. It was nice talking to you, hope we have an amazing lifetime.
