A letter from Aug 9th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Hi. I think about you. I think about you, I think about you so often because I’ve never been you. Right now, we’re going through completely different struggles, completely different lives. Were both the same, yet we are still so different from one another. I wonder how you are. I wonder /who/ you are. I wonder what you’ve experienced and what you haven’t experienced. I wonder where you are in the world, in life, and mentally. I wonder if you’ve gone to college or if you’re in college. I wonder about your graduation and I wonder if you’ve married or made new friends. I wonder how you spend your days and what you have going on in life. Who you’ve met, who you haven’t met. I wonder what people are in your life at this moment and I wonder what each and every one of them means to you. I hope that you have people who you would swim oceans for even if your lungs began to fill and I hope that those people would keep you afloat when you began to sink. I wonder where you’ve been and where you want to go. I wonder if your dreams have changed or if they’ve been accomplished. There’s so much that I wonder about you and so much that I want to say to you, but I fear that my thoughts come too fast and they escape me before I can write them all down. I would like to think that, by now you are living the life that I always dreamed of and that you are happy with who you are. I would like to think that this letter came at a time where you’ve settled and become more mature than I could ever imagine. I want to work hard to become you because I know that you are better than who I am now. I know that you learn to keep a lot inside and I know that you tend to be quiet so that you don’t intrude on others but I want you to know that you are always allowed to feel and that you will need to let all of those thoughts out at some point. Don’t let them eat you from the inside because you’ll end up being hollow. I know that you tend to cause yourself more pain than anyone else and I know that you need reassurance sometimes. This is your reassurance. Everything will work out in the end, and if it doesn’t at least you released those demons. I know that you’re trying your best and I hope that the world isn’t too hard on you. if it is, please keep pushing. You’re going to get out of this. I don’t know what else to say. I can’t find anymore words to pour out about how much I wish that you are well, but please work hard. Do your best. Don’t give up, you got this! I love you. Sincerely, the only one who knows you better than anyone else. ♡ P.s. How are BTS? What color is their hair? What do they look like now? I wish that I could hear all the future music that they’ve released right now. Also check in on your family, who knows how long it’s been since you’ve talked to them. Don’t be nervous.
