A letter from Jul 27th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I’m 18 at the moment so by the time you’re reading this you’ll be 23 and HOPEFULLY done with school. You are really struggling at the moment. Like mentally. Hope that changed. You have that stupid job at the souvenir shop where they are trying to fire you so they won’t need to pay you for another month. I really hope that ended up well. You broke down in front of mom and after she said you need to try and control the stress and anxiety you finally told her you needed help cause you couldn’t do it alone anymore. She said she’ll help. Hope you got the help you needed. Probably you don’t deserve it but definitely need it. You had those two guys you thought were cute while you were working. You know the one working with mom but never had the balls to go and say anything to ? Yeah that one but he’s probably seeing someone since I noticed his hair tie had a flower attached to it. Then there is the cute ice cream shop guy. Well this one actually spoke to you. At the grocery store while you were both in line and he asked you were you were working and all. Bet you think this is really cringe cause you always think that. You’ve got the worst type ever. **** I hope you went to Paris for your studies and hope you finished them in three years rather than five. Hope you get through financially. Mentally well you’re strong you’ll make it. You’ve been fixing yourself for a long time I know you can make it. Or can you? I mean fixing is complexe. You can’t actually fix yourself or someone. It’s like something is broken sure you can try and glue the pieces together but you know it’s not the same and won’t last forever. The glue doesn’t stick things forever. So it’s the same thing with people. You can’t fix yourself you’re already broken so all you can do is learn to live like this and make the best out of it I guess ? I don’t know anything really this is probably just a very mentally exhausted me speaking. But I hope you’re not crying alone at night anymore. Hope you got your life together or just some things sorted out. You deserve to be happy. **** hope you learned how to appreciate your parents cause they did everything for us and at the moment with your anger issues you’re treating them like shi*. I love them to ***** but sometimes it’s hard and you know that better than anyone. This letter probably won’t ever make it to you but I pray it does. Bye see you
