A letter from Jul 22nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hi Faye! First, I want you to know that I am always proud of you. You've been so strong and brave for the past 21 years of your life. I wrote this letter because I want to know if how are you doing after 5 years. Did you achieve your dreams? Did your timeline goals had fall according to your plans? At this moment of your life you aspire for a lot of great things and on top of that, you wanted to be a licensed architect! After 5 years, I'm sure you are an apprentice in a well-known architectural firm and preparing for your board exam. I know that you really worked hard for it and for the second time around, I want to tell you that I am very proud of you. Well done! I am still hustling to arrive at where you are right now. Our dreams might be delayed for a bit but we perfectly know that we're just taking a rest, we're not giving up this dream. After five years, I'm 100% sure that you're making this dream a reality! Things are not really getting better right now. There's still COVID, online classes are still up, going outside are still prohibited. I hope that after 5 years, you're already living in a normal world. Also, I hope that after 5 years you already has a disciplined skin care routine. Oh please take good care of yourself! And oh, I hope that while you're reading this you already have your own place! Your 21 years old self desperately want that, to live alone at your own apartment. I hope that you're now living with that dream of yours. I'm actually laying at my bed while writing this letter and I can't stop smiling because I can imagine how happy you are after 5 years. I can imagine that you a 26 years old strong and independent woman living at your own place, preparing for your board exam and will soon have your license as an architect, single, still a home body that enjoys staying at home and reading a book or watching a movie/kdrama while drinking your coffee.
