Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Hey bestie, How old are we? You're 17 and I'm 18 right now. I just did the math. We're 23...so old...gross. That means we graduated college!! What are you doing now? Are you planning to go to med school? Wait, that means you're probably studying for the MCAT. I think I'm going to become a lawyer so maybe I'll be in law school by now? How was college? Did you go to a lot of parties? Are you still doing your Depop shop? Are you still scrapbooking with the newspapers? Do you still like painting pottery? Isn't this crazy? We're older than the people in those coming-of-age movies. Am I still in California or did I decide to come back home? I'm probably still in California lol. Did you meet a lot of new people? Are you dating anyone? I'm so nosy teehee. Did you meet any famous people? I don't know why I asked that. Let me tell you about where we are right now. I think I mentioned this in the 1-year letter. You currently work at Beacon with my brother (gross) and you always come to my house every day to take an afternoon nap. You sometimes like to go to Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks before coming here. We also like to watch Wandavision or whatever's on Disney+ before you fall asleep in my bed while listening to your weird playlists. By the way, are you still organizing your playlists by month? I still think it's more convenient to just make one big playlist. Do you still listen to BTS? I came over to your house last week and you had so many photo cards. If you don't like them anymore, can I have them? You also made me fold your clothes, but I digress. Did we keep our Fourth of July tradition? I can't believe we forgot last year. I think I got a few mosquito bites when we went this month. What color is your hair? Is it still blonde or did you decide to change it? You just sent me a TikTok. Nice. Do you still take polaroid pictures? Your wall was covered in them and you even had some from middle school. Do you still take film pictures? Did you find a cool spot to develop them in Boston and upstate? I still can't believe we're so old now. I remember you used to bite me in 4th grade and I was like what the **** is this girl on. Remember our 4th-grade teacher, Ms. Montana? I heard she retired already. Also, remember when we went biking in the city? Just to clarify, the bike was HALF my weight, so it was difficult to ride it. I CAN ride a bike. We also spent a **** ton of money at Build a Bear. The total was over $100...for just two teddy bears. Do you still have the bear? Your bear was very squished when I came over. Maybe you need to stop sleeping on it. Sometimes, I like to press on the bear's paw to hear Jimin because it's so comforting. Remember that pink monkey we bought in the bake sale in 4th-grade? We named it Pinky but I lost it lol. Dumb *****, I just messaged you and you didn't even start writing the letters. Can you hurry up. I wish we can attach pictures or videos to these letters. I would've attached a picture of when you decided to give yourself a bowl cut during senior year. I'm laughing just by thinking about it. Still don't know what you were going for. Maybe I should write about our senior year. Since covid was still bad, half of our junior year and our ENTIRE senior year were online. You overslept and missed a lot of your classes and one time your teacher called your brother. I was failing gym because I didn't want to go to class. Who wants to exercise in front of the camera anyway? Before everything went online, you did a lot of track. You used to come home at like 8? I don't remember. Before your job at Beacon, you used to work at AMC. It wasn't fun for you because you had to work 8-hour shifts (extremely unethical btw) but it was fun for me because FREE TICKETS ;D But then you decided to quit and now we have to watch movies for the full price. Nice. I don't know what else to write and my hands are cramping. I'm also hungry. But there's no food in the house. Anyway, they say friendships that last longer than 7 years will last a lifetime and we've been already going for 8 years strong. Can't wait to go to Paris where we can visit the Palace of Versailles and eat croissants. I also think we should go to Italy too. I took Italian for 3 years in high school and I still don't know a single sentence. Arrivederci, la mia migliore amica di sempre! Till the end of the line, raisin P.S. That means see you later, my best friend forever. P.P.S Totally did not use Google translate--only my acquired Italian skills. Also, is it PPS or PSS?
