A letter from Jul 17th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hi to the future me!! How are you? Are you fine? I hope you are fine and doing well. I suddenly decided to write this letter to you because I want to see how you are doing 5 years from now. Are you happy? Or just the same as now? I hope not. Right now I'm lost. I don't know what exactly are my feelings and emotions. Maybe because of the pandemic? And our government sucks. So I hope you voted for the right person in the year 2022 as a first-time voter. Okay? Just so you know, I'm a month away from being a nursing college student. Our dream is to become a doctor right? A neurosurgeon. But because of financial issues, we can't. Even so, we never know what the future holds. Maybe right now you have graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is now a licensed nurse. Or did you continue to med school? Well, whatever path you took, I'm proud of you. How is our family? Did mom finally come home after years of being an OFW? Is dad still with us? How about our two younger sisters? Are they doing well? I hope they are. And I hope I'm wrong about dad cheating. I'm wrong, right? How about our friends? Are we still friends with them? Did you meet new friends? How are they? I'm sure you won't remember this day on how I wrote this letter. Or maybe you will? Hmmm. I just hope you forget that I wrote this letter for you so that you'll be surprised when this letter finds you well. Exactly 5 years from now. I just hope that you are happy and healthy. As well as the people you love now. I'm so proud of you. You are doing a great job just from coming this far. I hope you are in a much better place than I am right now.
