Dear FutureMe,
Hey Keira! Crazy to think that the next time I read this I will be 21. Hope you're having fun but not too much fun!! I just wanted to remind you of how far you have come and to never give up. I know sometimes it's tough and you feel like no one is there for you, but never forget that I am here for you and I am proud of you. You have come so far from that young girl who just got her license and is spending all of her lifeguarding money on Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Just for a reminder of what is going on in life right now- Ava just moved to Cali, you're talking to college coaches about being recruited for rowing, and you want to try to major in chemical engineering in college. Recently I've been trying to come out of my shell more- talk to more people and make more friends. I hope that is something you have been able to master though I know how you can get discouraged easily. Also, I hope you're still rowing I know that you can get really frustrated with it sometimes, but the hard work is worth it when you cross that finish line knowing you just won the race.
Hope you are doing well and you have not fallen back into any bad habits or gained anymore. Never forget how far you have come and how far you can still go. Never give up no matter what anybody tells you. Lastly don't lose yourself in the fast-moving world; I know sometimes it can be overwhelming but you are strong than you think.
Love,
Keira :)
