Time Travelling — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

So you're graduating!!! ... OR AT LEAST I HOPE YOU ARE?? (you better be) Anyways, I'm sure you are, you worked much too hard for much too long to have given up at any point. I hope it got better, I hope you now have the courage and the freedom to be your most authentic self, I hope you grew the balls to do all the things I never did when I had the chance. I hope you grew out of this self-hating phase that seems to consume everything because you truly do deserve it. You deserve better, bigger, and brighter than what anyone has to offer you. You deserve to love and be loved, to understand and be understood. What will you do now? Now that the structure of formal education is lost? I hope you still want to be a Paediatrician, imagine working with all those kids, I hope that's still your dream because it would break my heart if it wasn't. But most of all, I just hope you're happy. And if you are, you make sure that you tell any kid that ever has the misfortune of feeling like we do (or you did with any luck), that they're so ******* perfect, especially the ones that won't ever be told it by the people who are supposed to be singing it like an anthem. This last year has been especially hard as you know ofc, but it's almost over and soon everything will be 'almost over', so make the most of it and grab every opportunity with both arms and a leg. Anywaysss, this email has been way too long and if nobody's said it enough, I love you future me, and I'm so god**** proud of you for making it this far, no matter what you're doing. Love, You
