A letter from Jun 28th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Yesterday, June 28 2021, is one of the happiest day of my life. The day started off a bit disappointing as I woke up 3 hours past my intended waking time and missed the chance to continue my 1-week workout streak. Honestly, I don't remember much about the events that happened in the morning and in the afternoon. All of the important ones happened on the evening. Well, the evening didn't exactly begin fun since my glasses broke. 10 mins later though, I received a YouTube notification from Holostars' main channel. It's just a scheduled premiere with #JustFollowStars as a title and ?????? in the description. Seeing as it's the last day of their 2nd anniverary, I though it would be another cover song just like their 1st anniversary. I was, of course, very excited because their 2 cover songs, Blessings and Painter, was something I really cherish and probably will still be for the rest of my life. I received the notification at 8:00 pm. I waited for the premiere for 30 mins. I was just chatting 'waiting' and 9 🌟 in the chat box along with those who were waiting. I was also chatting with my friend and was trying to find her account in the chat box. It was the first anniversary we attended as I just joined the fandom in April 2021, and my friend a little later. Finally, the premiere started to count down a minute. Someone in the chat box was spamming 'THERES A ENG CC GUYS TURN IT ONN' and so I did. When it finally started, I was overwhelmed, just like how I always does whenever I hear them sing. The English CC was gorgeous. The illustration of our 9 stars that I've seen for 2 months straight was shown once more in the music video. "Echoing within my heart, Your Voice", I don't know if it's just me but the voice I heard the most is Miyabi's. I might be a bit bias since he was the first one I discovered after all but yeah, I hear Miyabi. Then I heard, Temma, Oga, then I spent the next hour after the premiere and after talk stream replaying the whole song trying to hear them all. It was beautiful. The words they sang in the song was all I've ever wanted to say to them. Echoing within my heart, is their voices. Every stream, every song, every video. I wanna assure them to that we will try our all to make their dream come true and that we will always protect that smile. I finally cried when 'Follow Us! Holostars!' came. Of course, we will follow you. I may be not their since the beginning but I promise to be with your every step until the very end. I am veryyy happy. I realized during that part that THAT WASN'T A COVER. It's an original song. It's their song. I was just crying and screaming out of happiness and pride. Just in my mind though, my brother will probably sent me off to a hospital if I did. After replying the song probably 4-6 times. There was a video underneath it that has the same picture and is scheduled a little later. Of course, I waited again. The chat was still spamming 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Honestly, same but I don't wanna spam the chat so I didn't do it lol. I don't understand japanese so I relied on the words that I can identify and some helpful translation in the chat box. I wad a bit unnerved by the amount of 'what are they saying' 'tell us pls' 'can someone translate' in the chat. I know they meant well but I don't want to feel pressured to speak in a language they aren't fluent. The translators also deserve to enjoy the premiere just as much as we can. They don't owe us any translation. Anyway, Miyabi got lost in his own forest lolol. I just find it so hilarious that that's what they came up at the moment. As always, genius! Lol. Miyabi came later though so it's all fine. I can't really understand for the most part but they sound so excited and that made me very happy. Then, it was time for announcements. I didn't understand so I was just smiling stupidly, then someone said that Astel (?) were nervous about what he was going to announce. Then they showed a clip with 2021...12... and something else that I didn't understand but what I did understand is that there's something big happening in December!!!! After the clip, someone said the word 'live' and I think I passed out. I am very happy but was very worried because that means I need to have money since I don't have any means of earning money. I will never be able to watch that live but wohoooo that's big news! I am really happy for them and I wish they enjoy. There was a misunderstanding in the chat because someone assumed that the live would be in 3D. Someone clarified that it wasn't confirmed and we shouldn't assume things before we say it. We really need to follow that mindset because we might set off something unpleasant to the boys. Then, teneeeen. Miyabi was the one chosen to announce it. When I heard the word '3D', I think I ascended. Woah. Like WOW. They weren't wrong! I felt another burst of happiness and pride. That announcement is enough to make me happy for the rest of the year!!! I won't be able to attend the live on Dec. but they finally have their 3D avatars and their own live show! I just want to shout it in the world. I broke down a bit in our group chat and I hope my friends understand because I was just so happy. I still am! And I will probably be for the rest of the yar! Lol. I felt the same happiness when my class finished our festival presentation, when I got the highest score, when I bought my very first yarn. I am very happyyyyyyy and prouddddd!!!!! The next happy event is unrelated to Holostars but I was happier than I would be if the premiere and after talk stream didn't happen. Me and my friends have this game where we show what we want in the future. Our dream job, dream house, dream travel spot, dream everything. It started a bit late as that was the only time that everyone was online (except 1 of our friend who doesn't really go online often). To summarize it, it was very fun and it gave us a lot of drive! We will try our absolute hardest to make those dreams a reality (although some of mine was a bit unreasonable such as wanting to be a water fairy as a job lolol). Most of us are not in a status of wealth and all of our dreams seems out of reach but just as Holostars said, we will reach it no matter how far! And I will make sure to achieve all of it together with Holostars and my loved ones. 21 year old Anan. How are you? Are you happy now? Are you still watching Holostars? Are they still streaming or are they retired yet? What have they achieved? Did they reach a million subs? Are they happy when they left? 17 year old Anan! How are they? Did the December 2021 3D live show went well? Were yoh, by any chance, able to attend it? Even if you didn't, I wish 21 year old Anan was able to buy the archive! I eish you have enough Japanese knowledge too. I really wanted to learn! How about Nijisanji KR? How are they? Did they finally reach 500k or a million years? I sure hope so! How about ChroNoir?
