A letter from Jun 24th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, A lot has happened in the last year. April 2020 I moved back from a job I loved in NZ, stressing about what life would hold. But you rolled with the punches, and have a house, a job, your family, and your best friend back. Life is great 5 months before you turn 30. How do you always manage to land on your feet? Do you have a wind chime yet? Remember that beautiful one you found in Darwin? Did you get it? Are you enjoying your back deck listening to that? I hope you are. Enjoying the hammock, realising how beautiful life can be if you just let it. Have you started writing your stories yet? You don’t have to write a book, but write that **** down! You don’t want to lose those years you spent overseas, I know I can barely remember them now. Spend the time to do it, even if it’s only so you can look back over them for yourself later on. Do it, start it now. Have you thought about kids? Is it something you still want to do? Talk to Beth about it, who knows what the future may hold! Writing this now, I can’t imagine having it all set up, child running around screaming, but I know you’d be able to do it. If it’s something that’s happening soon, ******* hell dude. You are amazing. You’ve got this. If you don’t. Hey, that’s ok too. You know enough people with kids. Be there for them. It’s about time you go and get those ******* & consent books for Zaine, and any other kids you know. Check up on those kids, and on Shanae. She has been through enough lately, give her a call. Alex & Charlotte? What’s happening with them?! I know it’s the time they will start thinking about kids, if they haven’t started already. Remember to be there for them. Charlotte especially.
