A letter from Jun 22nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Dear Future Self, Its been a tough year during covid-19 and other things that we couldn’t do. My 8th grade year went crazy. First, I was put into blended classes and with people i didn’t know. It took me a while to get to know them but I did. Now i'm Graduating from Dyker 201 and i’m so happy to be doing this. Now i’m on my way to high school. I’m going to New Utrecht High School. In the next 5 years I will be 19 years old. I want to say some things to say to my future self in that time period. In my first year of high school I went to get to know people in the school and be able to play the sports such as football and basketball. If I don’t play those sports I will probably play baseball. I will be able to meet new people on the teams and make new friends. If I play those sports I need be fit so i’m going workout and see where it takes me. In my second year, I’m going to be 15 years old and still be in the same school. High school will be much different than Middle school. I’m going to try to do my best in all my classes. In my second year hopefully i’ll be still playing the sports. I want to same things that I want to do in my freshman year in High school. The only want to do in my second year is to keep grinding to my achievements. In my third year, is going to be my junior year in high school. It’s a year away from my last year of high school. I still want to achieve things in high school. I want to try to be popular in High school because I don’t to be known as a non-popular kid. That will be boring. I want to try to get known as the best player on the sports teams in New Utrecht. That’s it for my Junior year. This is my last year in high school and I want to make it my best year of high school yet. I will be 18 years old turning 19 in September. That’s when I will be starting College. In my last year in New Utrecht I want to the best person in the School and nicest. I know there will be trips to go on like our Senior trip which i don’t where it is. In College I will be 19 years old and i don’t know what college I want to go yet but we will see. May be I will go to St. Johns College. That’s the end my 5 years from 2021-2026 so lets see where it takes me through those years. Love, Present Self
