A letter from Jun 20th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Im very confident that by the time you receive this email you are not going to expect it. You might even have forgot that you sent yourself a letter. Congrats on getting this far! If you are reading this, I really hope you are genuinely happy and content with where you are right now. IF you are not in the best place while reading this, i hope this message is a little sign from your past self to show you that these days are temporary and if you feel like nothing is working out, count your blessings. You have a lot to be grateful for, just look around. These days come and go, thats part of life. I hope you have learned more about yourself and found friends that bring out the best in you. You are a smart person but sometimes you make silly mistakes and thats okay, thats part of your growth. I know that you will never let anyone dim the light and kindness you carry around but, if anyone is making you question yourself, ignore. Its easy to confuse yourself, thats okay too but know who you are and what you are worth. I know your love life hasn't been the best but if you have found a partner, I am happy theres someone who understands you and if you haven't, gurl you got this! You have never been dependent on anyone and i hope that hasn't changed in the past 5 years. I would be surprised if thats the case! By now i hope you have found peace within yourself and found someone to talk to about your troubles. I really wish you have stopped isolating yourself when you need help. If you have, round of applause! Whatever said and done, i know you would not do anything to not make me any less proud because you always wonder what your future self would say/do. Kudos to getting here, you are brave and I am proud of you! I really hope people still call you sunshine, thats something you have been told by many strangers / friends. I would love for you to be the sunshine till the end of time. I want you to know something that is very important - Don't ever lose sight of who you are and ALWAYS stay true to yourself.
