A letter from Jun 17th, 2021

Dear, Alara Today is June 17th, 2021. Right now I am sitting on the couch in Turkey, writing this letter to you, my future self. I am 14 right now. There are many things going on in my life right now. Nothing bad, I’m actually quite happy, I’m with my family, my grandparents, and cousins. My best friend's name is Miranda, she is an amazing friend, she’s always there for me and has the kindest heart. My favorite movies are all of the Harry Potter, and Twilight movies. Not sure about a favorite song though. To be quite honest? I’m pretty excited, but nervous about going to high school. One of the reasons I’m excited is because I’ll be studying medicine, but nervous because I’m going to a completely different school, and getting older. I hope to accomplish my dreams of getting a medical degree, and becoming a doctor when I am older. You’re probably going to be in college, and happy. You’re probably always going to go to Turkey to see your family and cousins. I wonder how many friends you’ll make, and how many people in your life will change. I wonder what types of new inventions, and creations will be made. You’ll probably be older when you read this letter again, but here’s some advice. Never let anyone bring you down, and never give up on your dreams, always accomplish what you want, and always be there for your loved ones. Be responsible, and always be the kindest, and loving you can be. -Love 14 year old Alara, to the future me.
