A letter from Jun 16th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Happy Birthday! It's you from June 16th 2021. You've just finished your Ho Chi Minh ideology test, quite a crazy one to be honest. You are currently zoned out in your Economic Development class, so you send a letter to yourself in the future. Anyways, how are you? It's been 5 years, is your life okay? Have you settled anywhere? Are you living alone or are you still living with your parents? What kind of job do you have? Do you have a new pet, or you have readopted Nutmeg? I'm kinda curious. Usually, I would look back into my past and regret having taken it for granted. I wonder if you are doing that when you read this letter. I hope you are having a good time. If you're not, it's alright, we've got plenty of time. Are you still in love with Hà? I hope you are. She really is wonderful, I love her. If you are not, it's okay, it's for the best, you do you. Tell the girl you love that I love her, too. If you are not in a relationship, it's alright too. Love yourself. We are the same person, anyways. I just wanna say that I hope you are doing well. I love me a quiet life and a job that isn't a mind wrecker, so yeah, let's take some time to contemplate that. Oh, and remember to be yourself, yeah? Don't lose that temper of yours, that's what most people like in you, and that's what you like in you. Please keep it up, your drawings, your dream of making pizzas, your guitar, your dream of living a peaceful life. Don't listen to them, life is worth living, and you can still contribute to the world and the ones you love.
