A letter from Jun 10th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Future Me, I know that college has been difficult. Navigating through your recovery at a time when many students just want to party and have fun is tough. But, you are extraordinary. The things you've been through have given you strength, resilience, perseverance, power, and courage. Remember why you decided to become a teacher. Remember how you wanted to use your experiences and your knowledge to help other kids thrive. Remember that you can do great things with hard work and persistence. Your goal is progress, not perfection. Be proud that you've taken the time to work on yourself and what you need to feel spiritually, emotionally, and physically whole. You're going to do great things, just keep moving forward! Sincerely, Me
