A letter from Jun 10th, 2021

Dear Future Me, Since I am writing from the past, remember the year commonly known as the worst in human history. The year of 2020. Many things went wrong this year. Coronavirus is the first of three terrible things that happened this year. Corona or known as COVID-19 otherwise sucks a lot. It forced us to stay indoors and made us wear masks. I was no longer able to play water polo at all and all sports were cancelled until May of 2021. I mean you could play a little bit of sports but not a lot. We couldn’t take off our masks even if we were exercising inside either. And we all stared at a computer screen for far too long this year as well. The second thing that happened this year was the United States presidential election. Just watch reruns of one of their debates. It was less of a presidential debate, but more of who could shout over the other the loudest. These were the two options. Joe Biden and Trump. Neither are good options. But you know, America doesn’t care. Whoever solves Covid first is better by their standards. And the last thing was the BLM movement. It honestly should not have happened in the first place. Nuf said, Hi future me. Hope u remember this year. It sucks but remember this year. Hopefully you are doing something meaningful with your life. Not doing math homework. Sincerely, Past Me
