Time Travelled — about 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Ezeily, This school year(7th Grade) ended so quickly. We’ve been through a lot of changes about the way we were learning in school. In the beginning of the year we had to go to school with masks and have 3 cohorts-A, B, and V. Then, another big corona outbreak happened and we had to go all the way virtual again in November. Then, in January of February we went in the 3 cohorts again. Then in April cohorts A and B merged while V stayed the same. Now, next year there’s a chance we won’t even have to wear masks. The world right now is very divided. People have very different views and opinions. Racism, ableism, homophobia is all still a very big thing that people still have. My dad experiences racism, my best friends experience homophobia, and my great uncle experiences ableism, it’s a very hard thing to see them go through. My hopes for the future is to keep being positive about everything and going into everything with a positive perspective. I want to keep my friends that I have right now because all of my main best friends have been there since 3rd grade except for Sophie Park and Audrey Regan. I hope that high school went by without much struggle or stress. And I hope I get into UCLA. I don’t want to get into any more drama( but if someone does something to my family or my best friends that's an exception) I want my family and myself to stay healthy and for nothing to happen to them. I also want my soon incoming twin cousins to get through life easy and healthy. Some advice I have for you is to keep living life to the fullest. It’s not about what everyone thinks or what everyone feels. If you don’t like something that someone does or makes you feel uncomfortable and you still feel a need to be with them or friends with them, distance yourself from them because that’s a toxic relationship. And don’t get mad at the little things. Like if someone forgets to do something, don’t blow up on them. Another thing is to keep your loved ones close to you and try to talk to them as much as you can. Treasure your time you have with them because you never know when they will leave you. Check up on your parents, goldo, Angeli, and Yeshua. Because you never know what they may be going through behind closed doors. Growing up may be hard and stressful, but if you surround yourself with the right people, life will go by in a breeze. “It feels so scary getting old”. This a secret message from me ;). You have gone through so much already and having a good view and dreaming big will make a huge impact on your life. Graduating may be scary and the thought of growing up and having big responsibilities may scare you, but you're a strong woman now. Stand up for yourself and the rights that you have. Get a good boyfriend and if you already have one make sure they treat you well. You're a beautiful, amazing girl who deserves the world. Do not let anyone make you think you're less than that. And who I hope you're still talking to(Donald Urbanski) check up on him. He loves you more than you know. He cares about you like no one else does. Keep him for as long as you can, don't let him get away. Try to keep everyone around you for as long as you can they'll play a big role in your life. Your Best Friend(s): Nevin Rebancos, Sophie Park, Audrey Regan, Grace Odonnell, Reese Mitchell Your Favorite Food(s): Oreos, crab legs, and tacos Your Favorite Beverage(s): Gatorade! Your Favorite Actor/Actress: John Stamos Your Favorite Movie: Shrek 2, Shrek, Shrek: Happily Ever After, Shrek 3, Shrek the Musical, Grease, UP, The Princess and the Frog Your Favorite Show: The Good Place Your Favorite Book: Chrysanthemum Your Favorite Store to Shop: Forever21, Dollar Tree Your Favorite Place to Vacation: Puerto Rico A Place You Hope to Vacation: New Orleans Your Career Choice Right Now: Architecture Your Favorite Subject in School: Math One Thing You Fear: Growing up, *****, Whales, and losing loved ones A Place You Would Like to Live: Hawaii Something That You Would Like to Learn: How to surf Something That Is “In Style” Now: Mom jeans and over sized clothing One more reminder, that you can take on the world! No matter how much you doubt yourself you're a strong girl. Remember losing people is always a bad thing. When one door closes, another one opens. You deserve every good thing that has came to you and that will come to you in the future. The fact of loving and how hard you can do it will never change and that's the best feature any person could have. Don't forget to get that tattoo with your mom that says "Forever Young". You'll both cherish that moment for the rest of your lives. And above all stay awesome possum! I love you to the moon and back.<33 -Ezeily Rucci June 8th 2021 You mean the world to everyone love bug
