Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Date: june 3, 2021 Age: 17 “Beauty in the struggle, ugliness in the success.”-J. Cole. He is my favorite rapper and it resonates with me because it is in one of my favorite songs. Over the past year I had a much better year with english and writing essays. I will miss being able to do school work in my pajamas. My go to game has been Clash Royale. I’m most proud of myself for staying patient and not getting any C’s. The pandemic, BLM riots, and presidential election all happened this year. Prior to the pandemic hugging was so casual. Now if you hug someone you think twice. Over the pandemic the game among us has become very popular. My short term goal is to get good at Muay thai, my long term goal is to be the best fortnite player ever. I most look forward to seeing my friends when I go back to school. Some words of wisdom in the future are to remind myself not to be afraid. Not to back down from anyone or anything. Some words I’d like to give myself, train, organize, lighten up. Some words of wisdom for my peers: Lemme know, be like the ancient suggonese, and remember that you will always have bofa! I just want to thank all the teachers for being so amazing, especially because they had to adapt to online teaching overnight. In the big scheme of things this changed our country forever and I will personally always remember this year. Jaxson “Lil Reef” Santander
