A letter from Jun 1st, 2021

Hi! I'm back, I think I sent a different, but practically the same letter to you four years ago. This is COVID Joie. I'm sending this to you on 6/1/21, exactly five years ago. This is my second to last day of 7th grade! (And I'm doing this because of science. It's an assignment, but I enjoy it.) Let's see... first a little bit about me. At this point in my life, I think I was writing my own novel. I had named it Two Realms, and I hope I finished it!!! I also was learning guitar, and I had given myself the hard task of learning how to fingerpick Shallow (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper). And SOUR was out!!! By Olivia Rodrigo?? Yup, hope you still think she's awesome!!! Also, I think the COVID pandemic was slowly ending. The tiers were about to disappear and we were about to be mask free. I was going to be going on a couple vacations that summer, like Sequoia and Hawaii. In fact, I think I just came back from San Diego. Now what about you? I mean me? I mean... well, whatever. The point is, how am I doing? I hope I'm still friends with Isa, and Milla, Eileen, Yvonne, Katelyn, Kristel, Audrey E., Isabella W., etc. I hope Erin is doing well, and I go often to her house to swim in her pool!!! I also hope I'm doing awesome in school and pursuing my interests. Do I still know how to play guitar? Writing a new novel? What are my grades now? 'Cause at this point, I think I'm almost heading into college. *mouth opens in shock as reality hits me hard* I hope I help others and are kind and inclusive and are super loving and are honest and have a good relationship with my parents and friends and everyone still. I really do. And I tried to make this sound inspirational and stuff, but I think I failed. It probably sounds silly. Oh, well. Well, I would tell me to call or text or email me back, but I can't do that... so I guess I'll just wish you luck on your way to high school!!!!
