Time Travelled — over 4 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Things are going great right now. You’ve been in a good place with your parents and mentally, but I still know that I can’t get to comfortable. I hope that by the time you read this I’m still doing great with everything and that I no longer feel like all of the good things I have are going to be lost or that I can mess things up so easily. I want you to stay strong i’m not contacting your birth mom because she is a weight that is bringing you down. I know that right now my biggest concern in life is my little sister. To be honest at the moment I don’t know what’s going to happen to her and it terrifies me. I want you to promise that even if you grow out of touch with her you’ll try to reconnect and make sure she’s doing great because she is great. I also want you to not focus on guys as much and to better yourself. I don’t know what future me is up to but I hope it’s great things and that i’m on my way to being a criminal prosecution lawyer. Remember Broonlynn? I really hope she and I are still friends at that time but I will say if we aren’t reach out to her and try to reconnect. She was such a positive influence on us through high school and was there every time we needed her. I also hope that you’ve gotten over the lose of Grammy and Poppy. They are still alive when I write this, but I know that they don’t have much time and it’s heartbreaking. Remember all of the good times with them and how much they meant to you. I love you you **** ***** now go have a fun 21st birthday! Love, Your 17 year old self
