A letter from May 28th, 2021

Hey, you turn 30 today, don't you Suzu? I hope you're still alive after all this time. If this horrorizes you, makes you feel terrible in hindsight, then i will know i have made it. Perhaps not entirely, perhaps my legs still dangle from the side, but definitely better. I don't hold much hope for the future, but do you still drink pozol without worries whenever you can? Do you still talk with the knitting server? With the yoi peeps? I hope you do. You know they helped us so much back then, I've no doubt they'll be source of strength in the coming months and years. It's too much to ask for those impossible dreams to come alive but, i hope you're still happy in the small ways, riding the wave that is daily life the best you can. I hope this letter finds you well. Have a safe journey, and see you in 5 years. Suzu.
