A letter from May 27th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Right now, you must be 28 or 29. I am most probably married, maybe planning for or expecting a child. I don't know if I still am with Thayu, but I hope I am. I may still be a teacher, or I may have moved on to another profession or industry. It's so scary how things can change so quickly within 5 years. I hope you are doing alright, future self. I hope you are more confident of your abilities and much happier. I hope you have better mental health. I will be signing up for therapy now so that you can benefit from it. All I want for you is peace and happiness and I want to work on it from now onwards. I hope you are happy and satisfied wherever you are in your life, future self. In case you forget, right now I am 23 and I am in NIE doing my PGDE and dating Thayu. That is where I am in my life now. Hahaha Regards, 23 year old Priya
