A letter from May 24th, 2021

Dear future self, these past 2 years have been rough but they have also brought some of the greatest joys. Even though we're were quarantined for 3-4 months I met this guy and we fell for each other and had the greatest moments but we also had our bad moments and that what ultimately ended our relationship. We did online school for a year I never dreamed we would do online school let alone me succeed not being in person. I could also never imagine wearing surgical masks and homemade masks for 10 hours a day so we might not get sick. But in the end it made us as a family and community closer for the last 2 years wearing masks and social distancing and having the sanitize everything have been our new normal. I remember when we ran out of toilet paper in the store and online disinfectant products were having shortages. Never in a million years did i think we would go through a pandemic like this in my lifetime. If there is anything i was learned through this covid pandemic is that the most important people in your life will bring you so much joy and when there gone your lost. Hey self i bought my first car working at subway and saving my paychecks for 6 months.Hopefully by the time i read this i can actually drive LOL because i am 17 and still dont want too. I am so glad my English teacher made us do this at the end of my junior year so i can remember all of these things. I can honestly say I will never forget 2020 and 2021 there was so much to laugh and look back on. PS. what your going through now is only temporary:)
