A letter from May 25th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hello!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited to do this omg. it’s may 26 2021. when i’m writing this in picturing me mommy and maya sitting on the couch late at night listening to me read this in shock with an episode of criminal minds in the back. ryan and kayla are in his room watching sports. daddy has been asleep since 7 and cosmo is on the floor and chappy is on the top step. cosmo is doing so good. absolutely obsessed with mommy! they go on walks ever single day! for chaplin. you got her in july! i’m absolutely obsessed with her. she demands belly rubs every minute and loves sitting in the window. my favorite color is green. biden is president!! who will be president now!?!? BETTER NOT BE TRUMP. BLM is so peaked right now. i totally agree with it and it better be improved by now. we are currently in a PANDEMIC! it started in 2020 senior year on march 13. at this point in the pandemic the vaccine was just given out (i just got mine) and it’s very controversial. i swear to GOD if we are still in this thing now. I’m gonna give myself a run down. I’m currently at montclair as a linguistics major and ASL. I really wanna be an interpreter... I HOPE I AM!! Imagine im like a history teacher HAHAHAH. omg did i go to grad school at rochester !!? I just finished ASL at school for the semester. Grades are okayyyyyyyish in the 80’s. I tried very hard this semester! So proud of you! my favorite songs are stargazing the neighborhood the adults are talking the stokes and meet me at our spot willow. I’m dating alexa now for 5 months! My friends are erin jaspan alyssa garcia logan fraser audrey toth vic battiao!! Right now I hate Kyle Blair. I hope im not friends. you still stay in touch with gary! like snapchat and sent tiktoks! i wonder if he’s still around! you drive molly! she’s been doing so good recently! i wonder where im living? what car do i drive? who am i friends with? what did i do today? this is insane that i have no idea what’s coming. i just met my friends at school and got super close with them! Skylar Willoughby, Maya Stopler , Ashley Dooley, Paul MacDonald, John Schell, Richard Otto and Maya Tesa!! when i first got to msu i was having such a rough start. then i met them and it got so much better. youre living with maya ashley skylar. Just about everyday we get starbucks (i get a strawberry açaí refresher light ice no strawberries. applebees (three cheese pasta) and cookie connect (one peanut one nutella). I’m the event coordinator for the MSDC!! for 2021-2022!! wow that’s gonna sound so long ago....my celebrity crush is evan peters and asap rocky. I work at At Home and I’m starting at Riverhouse next month! we are also planning a trip to colorado next month! I went to nebraska in january! my dream vacation spot in washington state. have i gone??!? i want to live in maine in the future! with alexa and chappy. me and alexa want a private wedding just me and her!! am i married.... i hope i didn’t forget anything!! my hair is brown with blonde under layer!! i really wanna cut it. Today I went to Turning Point with my mom and ryan. I took a super long nap on accident, went to target with erin and got cute pair of biker shorts! Then hung out with alexa! she got me flowers today. i’m currently super sun burnt because i went to the beach with erin yesterday! Hung out with maya for a little today . ( maya is at a really low point right now , makes me sad because it also happened to me. i really really really hope she’s better in 5 years and will see this to be proud of her progress. I love you maya!) also me and ryan aren’t too close. i wish we were tbh we don’t talk to much. i don’t have much more to say!! i’m so excited to send this!! it’s currently 12:34am and i saw gabby fico post about it!!! i’m so exhausted (but i also smoked before hehheehhe) tomorrow i’m not doing much! on thursday tho i’m going to alyssas prom pictures and the American dream mall with my friends from school! i hope i wrote enough!! i’m gonna be so amazed in 5 years i can see it already. i hope i’m doing so good! happy with my family and friends! doing so good with school and work ! i’m definitely a mess. i’m currently on facetime with alexa falling asleep even tho i i took a five hour nap today!!?!? -lindsey from 2021
