A letter from May 22nd, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey girl. This is Caroline. You're probably already cringing at this, but I'm about to graduate high school!! By this time, I think you've graduated/supposed to have graduated college. Are you still at UVA, or was it not the right fit? I hope it was. I was so happy when I got in. Do you remember? It was the biggest movie moment and I was so so happy I cried. Anyway, how was college? Or how is it? Do you know what you want to do with your life? That's a loaded question lol. I'll go easier. Are you happy? JK that was just as loaded. I wonder if you'll still think I'm funny. I don't care what future me things. I know I am funny now. I know im going through friend troubles right now, and I could use some advice. All they do is make me feel ******. I know I should let them go, and I've tried, but I dont know if I can. I should. High school is supposed to be about growing and learning. What's college about? I hope its good. Sorry this letter is all over the place. Anyway, I love you, im proud of you, and see you in 5 years babe. Stay strong and solid. love, 2021 Caroline
