A letter from May 21st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I believe I did bad this year I'll admit. I did not put that much effort at all into this school year. I think this because I wouldn’t do any schoolwork, and I even had all F’s at one point. I am most proud of being able to pick up all my F’s, (except for 1) and pass this school year. Now I have all A’s and one B. I wish I could go back and just do my work at the beginning of the school year because it is not that hard to maintain good grades. I believe this is the best I can do right now, and I am happy with my grades. 3 short term goals of mine are get a job, go outside more, and maybe exercise. 3 long term goals I have set for myself are graduate, learn how to drive, and have an apartment of my own. With English class my reading has gotten way better. Quarantine definitely dumbed me down. It made It harder for me to read and spell. The "7 day late work grace period” helped a lot. It gave me less pressure for having to turn in my school work. One thing I would want you to know is that I really enjoyed the book Night. I am most thankful for my friend Anthony. He is my best friend, and he is the one that encouraged me to start doing my schoolwork.
