Dear Future Me,
Don’t let people take advantage of your kindness. I want you to remember the effort you put into the 10th, 11th and 12th grade. Don’t get yourself lost in the future. You wanted to be a cardiovascular surgeon because you wanted to help people. You wanted to study cosmetology because you loved doing your family's hair and loved painting your cousin's nails.
Don’t let your family or friends force you in a different direction. I know that because you're older you're going to remember everything that happened. I hope that you are still close with Esmeralda because I know that you only had two people who really cared about you.
I know you're going to remember Izzy because she was the most amazing person you had ever met. Don’t forget where you came from but don’t let us drag you down. I say this because when you read this I will be your past self.
I don’t know if you will still remember Tenchy but he loves you. He is truly your other half. You cried when he ran away. Your mom was hard on you but sometimes she showed how much she cared for you. This is coming from the perspective of 10th grade me.
I’m about to have my first job working at six flags. I’m training to be a lifeguard this weekend. I’m extremely hyped to start but I am patiently waiting to get the job. Guess who else is also going to be there? I applied for Selibeth to work with me. Stephanie also applied but you probably don’t remember her. I still can’t believe that I’m moving forward in life.
I lost my best friend a week ago to an overdose and now I’m trying to be strong for her so I applied to work and I’m trying to keep my mind busy. This year was a hell of a ride...Corona, deaths and now a step to the future. I LOVE YOU GIRRLLLLLLL!
