A letter from May 18th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, hi. Look, you’ve been through some stuff. Believe me, I should know! And... if your anything like how I am right now, then you don’t talk to anyone. You keep it in. It’s not a great idea cuz then you start saying goat feces that you don’t really even mean. And sure yes this is cheesy. But you need this! You might need reassurance that you are great!!! And that comes from me. If anyone is gonna tell you that you are the best and actually mean it, it’s me. Because I can tell you whatever I want. So look, if you are doing great, keep this in mind. Love your mom. Love Jens (stepdad). Love Lucy(sister). Love everyone. Because in the end, your life is measured by the amount of people you love and people that love you. And if your life is not doing so great, one day at a time man. And I don’t mean try to get through your day. I mean try to make the most of it. You won’t get anywhere if you don’t try. Keep pushing forward!!!! And lastly, I really love you. I mean, you looked kinda crappy in 5th grade, and you probably look crappy now. But I do love you and it’s important not to think about doing things but being there for other people and not just yourself. Talk to mom!!! And is dad w/ jina? (Dads gf) Talk with Lucy!
