A letter from May 17th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I hope all is well with you! Five years from where I am now, you should already have your bachelors in architectural engineering and start working to get your masters. You have done so well so far and you’ve done so great, so please don’t give up when you’ve almost finished the rest of your journey. I don’t know if you remember but when we were in high school, we were very unmotivated and undisciplined. I pray that you changed that about us eventually. Don’t be too hard on yourself either Monie. If you are doing the best you can, then that is more than enough. I don’t know if you are talking to someone or are interested in someone now, but make sure to protect yourself. Whoever is lucky to be with you needs to understand that. And DO NOT LOWER YOUR STANDARDS FOR NOBODY!!! Just do your best and keep your face on God and everything else will follow. I love you Monie and I pray for success, life and fortune for you! Sincerely, Your past self!
