A letter from May 16th, 2021

Dear B, This is a letter to you from today 16 May 2021 Sunday. I like writing letters and I wanted to talk to you but then I did not want to text you so I thought I can write a letter to you in future, in far far far future. Today is the last of our Eid Holidays. Monday tomorrow, works starts tomorrow. And I will probably be assigned to a new project twic soon and I am a little overwhelmed but I know it will be okay, because I was overwhelmed when I was assigned to fankave but things worked out in the end. My Eid was not a happy Eid and it never is but that's okay, I will get over it. I am writing this as I am sitting on my roof and weather is beautiful. As you know due to Covid 19 situation we are working from home, it's been 1 year and two months since we started work from home. And I got the opportunity to learn so many things during this time. I started the Dream Worldwide 2020 programme from Bayyinah. Today I will be watching the day 60 lecture and it is numbered as 60 but actually it is day 100. Because we did 40 days intensive before. And I am actually behind. The live classes are actually on day 106 I guess. Anyway I am happy that I reached day 100. Yayy!! I never did anything so consistently in my life so I am happy I came this far. The credit goes to our Ustadh. He is so fun, and a cool teacher. He is so caring and empathatic and patient and I learned so many things from him. At this point, he is teaching a 13 year old Ahmed and 14 years old Maryam, along with students from all over the world. Sometimes students join the live session and talk to Ustadh. I am ending this letter now because I need to finish my evening azkar but I will write another soon. And please don't be mad at me. When you will get this letter, years would have passed and I will probably be a different person. And I know I will probably regret writing letters 😄 but anyways.
