A letter from May 10th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, I wanted to write a letter to let you know how were doing, and what’s happened this year. I wrote this letter to you when I was 12 in 7th grade on may 10th 2021. Beginning of COVID - 2020 was a crazy year if you don’t remember in march of 2020 COVID 19 started to get really crazy, everything shut down the world was quarantined ( in there homes not leaving), anytime you left your house you were only going to get essential stuff. And when you did you had to wear a mask. That’s not all that was crazy. We had to social distance from mom mom and pop pop Schools - All the schools got shut down and we did this thing called virtual learning, we got on zooms and stayed at our house our grades dropped bad and it was really hard to learn. Summer of 2020 - over the summer COVID 19 was still a thing, masks everything closed, it was the most boring summer ever. We didn’t see our friends till June, no pools, no friends, and no parties. Our 12th birthday party was over a zoom call, we had a scavenger hunt and talked, even though our mom put a lot of effort into it, it just wasn’t the same. The rest of the summer passed and nothing changed. School again - when august hit school started again it was different than before. You had to wear masks, social distance ( stay 6 feet apart) and lunch was even social distanced, although things were getting back to normal nothing really seemed to be the same. Christmas 2020- everything started to get back to normal, but then we had a huge spike in COVID 19, and guess what we got. We were the first ones who got and we spread it to dad and Maddie. And mom mom and pop pop. We had to zoom call with everyone for Christmas no in person Christmas. We had to post pone our Disney trip, i know we went to Disney world during COVID, and you can guess what we had to wear masks. We started the new year in Disney and that’s when things started to normal out ( IN CELINA). New year 2021 - we went to school just like before, with masks. All the way up until may then we ( Celina) got rid of masks at school. It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year since COVID started. And now we are about to go to summer and this is when i think its going to go back to normal. Election - I don’t really want to talk about the election because it was crazy lets just say, trump lost and I’m sure you know that because I’m sure no one has shut up about it. Family- family is good mom mom and pop pop are doing great, same with Grammy and papa, i hope that there doing great now. Mason and Victoria are engaged and doing great. Maddie and Matthew are doing great in soccer and basketball. And mom and dad are taking care of us and are good. I hope everyone is doing great now. Us - were good, friends are good mya’s doing great just got highlights in her hair , school is good, were a little confused about how we feel about people, but all in all doing good. I hope were doing great now. In hope were not doing dumb stuff. This is about all i got for us this year, but i hope were well good luck with college if that’s what were doing, and good luck in life.
