A letter from May 6th, 2021

Dear Future Me, By the time you read this, you will have been teaching in the same High School for ten years. Or, you may have studied more and gotten a master’s degree to become a university teacher. But I think you probably will have continued teaching at Unidad Educativa “Paltas” because you love to live in your town of birth. Everything that has happened has led you to this moment. Don’t change a thing; if you think all worked well you might not change. All the successes and failures and heartwarming and heartbreaking moments were all worth it. No regrets. All things that worked well will not have been replaced during these ten years.
