A letter from May 5th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, Hey Beautiful, I hope you're doing well. Right now it is 5/4/21 at 2:15 am on an Earlyyyy Wednesday morning. I hope you are doing well. You should be almost finished with college, and yes I don't know your plan or even if you got that far on your plan but I hope you are alive and well. I know right now life is hard and confusing and sickening but you got this. How's Papa? did he get better by chance? I hope the family is doing well? Even though I know you can't send me back an email, what would you say to me if time travel was real? just curious? I hope you and Jadelynn are together again, I bet you balled your eyes out like a little girl when you told her that you were coming to visit; am I right? I hope you found happiness in whatever it is you are doing. Hows this love life of yours? Is it up and running or is it a slow train? Are you married? Kids? I wanna know everything! I'm so proud of you Emma, you don't know how happy I am to be you; and for you to be me. Thank you for listening and learning. I hope you continue to grow and love and prosper, Oh! and remember to write an Email to me....well technically us in 5 years times. Never forget who you are and where you come from. You are strong, You are Emma Lin Jacques after all. Thank you for not being stubborn and having the time to read this email from little old 17-year-old Emma.
