A letter from May 4th, 2021

Time Travelled — almost 5 years

Peaceful right?

Dear Ayden, DON'T DELETE It's May 4th 2021 today and I just learned about this website where you can send an email to your future self, how cool is that?! You'll see this letter in 5 years and I really hope you are doing well. Recently I've been having some troubles figuring out what I want to do in life, I spent a good portion of today researching different jobs that sound interesting, Psychology sounds cool? Ugh, I have no clue. I know if I put my mind to something I can achieve great things. Anyways, I hope you have it figured out by now but if you haven't, no big deal! You are still so young and I hope you don't get so caught up in work or something else that you miss out on the world. Remember to stop and smell the roses once in a while, don't be too hard on yourself when you fail but keep pushing yourself everyday to become the best version of Ayden possible.Honestly it doesn't feel like I will ever read this letter, 5 years feels like forever. I hope you and Maddie are still kick'n it, you just started dating march 16th of this year and I really think she's the one. This probably sounds ridiculous especially because we are still in the "honeymoon" phase but I really do love her. I'll stop talking about her now just in case things have ended. If they have, don't worry, you've been through that pain before and you know you can count on yourself to grow and heal and you will find another. Remember to stay close with your family because that's what matters. And don't sweat the little things. Remember to spread kindness into the world and help people. Take a deep breath, everything will be ok! The world will continue to spin. Alright well, I'm going to go now, I know I can count on you! You're the best and don't let anybody tell you otherwise, you CAN do anything! Best wishes buddy, -Ayden ;)
