A letter from Apr 28th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, As you know, I am from your past, maybe a better time but hopefully not as I hope you are doing better at the time that you are reading than at the time that you are writing this. Allow me to give you a refresher of your life at the moment in time which you are writing this. In general, you are indifferent to everything. You have been hurt recently by Dad, but you are at a place where you can put it behind you guys and continue to spend quality time with her. You are first learning to drive and taking life seriously as you begin to realize that you are about to be an adult in a few months. You are finalizing your next steps in terms of college and moving to Irvine and getting ready to make your first baby steps into the adult world. You just started to work at Polo Ralph Lauren with Carlos and you love the Customer Service aspect of the Sales Floor. You are getting the final moments of family experiences with your best friends Patrick, Ephraim, Gabe, Jason, and Jonah before we all go off to college and maybe even lose contact for a while. In terms of everyone else, you have a great relationship with them like Mom, Grandma, Ray. Wela is recovering from her fall and slowly but surely getting better. You have no romantic relationships or girlfriends, not even talking to anyone as a friend other than the boys. Some advice would be to keep your head up and don't get too caught up in the happenings of the world. Rewatch Naruto every once in a while just to remind yourself of the importance of hard work because I know you get very lazy and distracted sometimes. Make sure to give people a chance before judging them. Find your true 100% self because I know that you haven't had a chance to find yourself because of what you've been through, but please let your guard and your wall down sometimes in front of the right people because we both know how cruel this world and its people can be. Please try to work through that rage that you have inside you and turn it into something positive. Be someone that people would want to turn to and trust, but most importantly don't forget and be ashamed of where you've been and come from. I don't have any expectations because we both know how we feel about those. One expectation would that if you are still into cars and turn into a gearhead, then make sure to get a better car or one that you want to drive because you should be able to drive stick by now. Have had at least one girlfriend by now because I know how hard it is for you to put yourself out there and actually open up to people but when you do find someone you genuinely love, I know you would do anything, absolutely anything for them.
