A letter from April 26th, 2021

Hello Superhero! I am sitting in a Starbucks in Málaga while I am writing this for you. I bet you remember the 6 months we lived in Spain, during a global pandemic and everything! By the time you are reading this I really hope the pandemic is over! I am sure you never shut up about living in Spain, just like you could never shut up about the 10 days we spent in the military! You must be turning 27 this year. How is our private life looking this year? Our parents already had us by the time they were 27. I have so many questions for you, how did the semester in Spain turn out? Did we pass our exams? We probably didn`t... How is our spanish? Do we still speak spanish at all? Did you go on other exchanges? If so, where and for how long? Instead of going on about all the questions, let me tell you my predictions for our future. We have always loved dreaming and planning, meaning that we always made plans from A to Z, because you never know! Don't feel bad if things didn't turn out like 2021-us wanted it to, after all, despite our love for planning, we have always had a very open mind about the future. When all comes to turn, whatever happens happens. You are still a student I assume? Are you graduating soon? As of now I am getting very tired of the bachelor in History that we are currently studying. Did you start studying for masters in English? I really hope the math exam you need to take in order to get in to the teacher masters in English never stopped you. I hope you are close to graduating with a masters in English and that you will soon be working as a teacher. Our plan has always been to become a teacher and we really nailed being a substitute teacher. I cannot imagine us with another job than that, except for maybe being an author! On that note, I do hope that we finally are a published author by now. If yes, what is the book about? Did we ever finish that story about Lucas? If we are not published yet, do we have any plans or possibilities to be in near future? I hope that we have found love, in 2021 we were so lonely. I let myself wonder who he is, could he be one of our earlier crushes? Could he be our current crush? Remember how you told your friends in Spain that you would make a move on your crush after returning home from Spain? Did we ever do that? I also let myself wonder if we have found love, is it someone I already knew in 2021 or have I not met him yet? Even if you are single or not I hope that you by now own your own apartment or maybe even a house. We started saving for this when we were 15 and it has been a dream since we were 20 so I think it's about time now! Take care and stay strong, girl!
