A letter from Apr 24th, 2021

Dear FutureMe, if all goes according to plans you’ll be reading this as a senior in med school I’ll already know where I’ll be matched into and I’ll be on my way somewhere. I really hope we matched into general surgery in California but i know we’ll be matching into wherever is best for us. i’m a freshman in college right now, and i can’t wait to be a med student! you (future) are living my dream, was med school as fun as we hoped? are we going to be a neonatal surgeon? is greys anatomy still going? haha. do we have any friends or significant others? do we go to church? are we happy? it’s so hard to believe that in 5 short years i’ll practically be a doctor. did we start vlogging like we wanted to? are we still in a pandemic, is biden president? keep ur head up future doc, i can’t wait to meet you! I hope we eventually became president of gamma psi Sigma. did we ever lose that weight that we wanted to, start drinking water, get consistently good sleep, start running? do we figure out a personality? are you still the quiet annoying kid or are you confident and happy? omg we could be married? please tell me we’re not married. did we ever get tattooed with our mom? what is the criminal minds spinoff any good? did we finish our bachelors degree with summa *** lade? is popcorn still our favorite snack? are we happy, like reallyyyy happy? i’m still just a kid, but i can’t wait to meet us! <333 destiny
