Dear FutureMe,
I realized I was growing up when all my childhood shows started showing up as throwbacks. When my pants grew 4 sizes and the trainer bras I had when I was 10 were in the donation boxes. When 1+1 turned into y=mx+b and the books I read aren't the ones with pictures anymore. When I had to start looking at colleges and think of what I want to do with my future. When all my old friends grew apart from me, even the ones I thought I was going to be with forever. When I had to start being careful with my words and be held accountable for my actions. When cuddles with my dad turned into crying alone at night. And having anxiety from school work that's of course overdue. When birthdays started to fly by at a blink of an eye. When I had to start learning how to file my taxes and think about getting a driver's license. When all the songs I used to listen to bring back memories of when i was young and falling in and out of love. When I started having fights with my parents due to my attitude. When I learned about longitude and latitude, and learned how to hide my emotions under the hidden mask on my face. When scaring my parents might actually give them a heart attack either than a laugh. When I found out my favorite movie came out 9 year ago when it seemed like it was yesterday. That's when I realized I was growing up.
