A letter from Apr 24th, 2021

Dear Manda, it feels unrighteous for me to write you advice since you are older than me. Which would mean that you are (hopefully) wiser and taller than me. I don't know what's it like to be you, and I don't know what's it like there. I don't know whether you're at the highest of highs or lowest of lows. I don't know if you're confused or if you feel like you've figured everything out. What I do know, and what I hope you know, is that no matter where you are, how old or tall or wise or wealthy you are. I will always love you. Even when no one else does. Even when you lie awake at night wondering why no one is talking to you or when you're out and laughing with your friends, you will always have me. I will always be there. Happy birthday.
