A letter from Apr 21st, 2021

Dear FutureMe, We got a school assignment asking us (the students) to make a letter telling you (me) all about my time and experiences during the lockdown and the rocky and scary corona time. What am I currently working on to brighten up your life? Well, I'm trying to sell ice cream and get some cash so we can go on that trip through Asia when im 19 (currently 17). But by the time you read this you’ll probably have a ton of stories of all the adventures we went on, I'm looking forward to it. We recently broke it off with my first true love and honestly, we’re in that little depression phase on top of that we don’t have a good internship yet cause we got laid off by the company and are currently seeking a new internship. But I got a feeling everything is going to be alright, besides despite me now missing fay and being a little hurt we’re doing great (it's been a couple of months since the break up). Also, I wonder if sofi came to live with us. If yes I bet she’s annoying huh? But I know we don’t mind cause she’s basically family. Corona curfew doesn’t really affect us cause we got papers and honestly we mostly work right now and have some weekends off, besides we’ve fallen out of love so we really got nothing to look forward to on the weekends hahaha I know it sounds depressing but honestly, we’re doing great. We almost got the gravestone mom wanted to granny and I’ve almost finished my ice bike so the summertime is going to be tough but really fun. I know I'm talking like you’ll understand everything I'm writing but really I doubt you’ll even read this, cause we both know most school-related tasks aren’t as important to us anymore. I hope you’re doing okay and I hope you at least picked up your clothes at Fay's place by now, I won’t set high expectations to cause really I just you to have fun and not be bound by achievement. If you make enough money to be stable had at least 1 glass of water in the last couple of days, and have a clean kitchen I'm proud of you. I know you’ll have to deal with some major loss in the next couple of years and I hope you’ll be able to cope and stay strong, I know we can. The second lockdown hasn’t been though or anything we barely notice it, it only sucks we can’t really go out partying but maybe that’s better for me at this point in my life. Anyway thanks for reading this future me I hope you have a great life, maybe make a new letter to you in your 30’s that dude probably needs some courage from the past.
